Website Design Client: Now Air Conditioning

Location: Wellington, Florida

“Now HVAC Air Conditioning Company” in Wellington, Florida was not happy with the performance of their existing website. While it had an attractive design, this business owner knew that it was lacking in basic search engine optimization. After a brief phone conversation with AdverGroup, we revealed that their page titles and meta descriptions were very weak and not intelligently targeted. Even though this business is located in Wellington, Florida this HVAC contractor felt comfortable moving forward with AdverGroup as their new website designer. K7W is a contractor specializing in building wood and composite decks for clients in Arlington Heights and it’s surrounding suburbs. In fact, they build decks for clients through out the Chicago area. This client had already had a website but was not happy with it’s performance. They were aware that it was lacking in the area of search engine optimization (SEO), plus it did not adequately demonstrate their business because the old website was mostly using stock images. Carroll Seating is a specialty contractor that provides custom seating solutions, casework, millwork and specialty furniture and lockers for various types of industries including Sports, Entertainment, Schools and Educational Facilities, Government Agencies, Public Facilities, plus Healthcare and Medical Facilities. There website was in need of upgrading. Even though their existing site had a lot of content, the site was not mobile friendly and much of their content was un-organized and improperly coded for SEO. Website Design Client: The Cookie Joint

Location: Northbrook, IL 60062

The Cookie Joint is an online cookie specialty store who has their local bakery based in Northrbook, they produce Gourmet Cookies and Cookie Fries. They were already successful before working with AdverGroup. As “The Cookie Joint” has been featured on Oprah’s list of favorite things and various nationally syndicated television shows like “Access Hollywood” and “Chopped” a cooking show that appears on the Food Network. However, they were running their website through a platform that was taking 25% commission on all of their sales. They knew it was time to take control of their online sales and time to develop a new eCommerce website that they could control. They learned about AdverGroup through a friend. This fiend works for another local bakery, of which we assisted in the redevelopment of their bakery website. While reviewing our portfolio, they learned that we do more than just eCommerce web design, as we also provide product photography, social media management and more. This led them to realize that we would be the best choice among local web designers, and a great local partner to move forward with managing their website redevelopment and digital marketing needs.

Custom Shopify eCommerce Theme Design using the Shopify eCommerce Platform. When designing websites for clients we do not dictate which platform is selected. We evaluate the clients objectives and provide recommendations. Knowing the client had goals to make purchasing gourmet cookie baskets and cookie fries, we new Shopify should be considered. We then examined all the other needs of the project and determined that we were able to deliver all that was required by the projects objectives using Shopify eCommerce platform.
Creation of Client’s eCommerce Product Feed .This client had no pre-existing eCommerce website. All that was provided to us was an excel spreadsheet that provided minimal data relative to their current inventory. We took that information and created a master product feed that possessed all the field headings for data tables as required to formulate a “product feed” that could be imported into the Shopify eCommerce Platform.
Product Options and Variants for eCommerce Bakery Products: Being a bakery, you could imagine the many product options that could be possible with these food products. Custom options implemented in this project were: cake sizes, cake flavors, icing flavors, custom name inscriptions, cello bag wrapping and more. Even more complicating these options needed to be applied to individual products and/or collections and in some cases were required to change the final product price by adding additional costs for options.
Custom Contact Fields in Checkout Process. This client required customers to verify the vehicle fo which they are purchasing rims and tires for. The solution was to add a custom field to the check out process. That way, the sales rep can verify fitment before the very expensive product would be shipped via freight carrier
Tax overrides configured for Shopify eCommerce: Shopify for taxes as part of their PCI compliance configuration and in effort to make configurations easy for clients. But what about when you have a food product that only collects 1.75% rather than the tax percentages forced by Shopify? The solution is to configure custom tax overrides in Shopify.
“Amazon Style” Filter for eCommerce Products: When you have almost 3,000 products in your eCommerce store you need an easy way to navigate through the store. As a local Shopify expert we are have experience configuring your stores inventory properly, ensuring products are tagged intelligently so that your many product types, flavors and product uses are tagged in your products and configured in your filter app to ensure a pleasing user experience for customers who frequent your online store.
Coupons and Discounts: Configured coupons and discounts in the Shopify eCommerce Platform.
Custom Email Notifications to Customers and Administrators: This client required their very custom eCommerce website to provide specific details on their invoices and emails to customers and administrators. We custom coded their eCommerce invoices and email notifications to include all the information relative to their specific: pick-up locations, pick-up date, pick-up time, deliveries, discounts and more.
Content Creation: Website included service page content creation. Meaning that AdverGroup wrote all eCommerce policy text for this bakery website design project. We coded all webpage articles to include proper metadata for search engine optimization for gourmet cookies. Their pre-existing website had a press page which was a single webpage that listed their many notable press. However, we wrote each of these notable press items into their own search optimized articles that could be used on social media to achieve unique clicks, or social media referrals back to their website.

Website Design Client: Gurtz Counseling, LLC

Gurtz Counseling, LLC is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) who is based in Arlington Heights, IL 60004. When it was time to redevelop their website, the owner asked a few trusted business associates in Arlington Heights for a reference for a local web designer they could have used. Oddly enough, two of the three people she asked replied referring AdverGroup as the best choice for a local web design company. After reviewing the AdverGroup website and observing other mental health websites that we developed, she was certain that we were the right choice.

As part of the project, we reorganized and re-wrote this clients pre-existing website content so that it was more inline with what a search engine user might enter into a search engine while searching the web for a local “Clinical Professional Counselor”.

Web Design Client: Lakeside Food Sales

Location: Vernon Hills, IL 60061

Lakeside Food Sales Inc. has been supplying and distributing raw ingredients to food and beverage manufacturers, restaurants and bakeries across the United States since 1986. They had what appeared to be a pretty attractive website. However, there were many issues that they wanted to resolve on the existing website.

Additionally, they wanted a slightly more professional looking website with a video header and video commercial which would help them “out do” their competitors.

Some of the issues that existed on their pre-existing website were not glaring, but to a Search Engine Optimizers’ trained eye, there was many SEO deficiencies that were silently keeping this clients website from becoming relevant in search engines. These deficiencies included all product pages missing Intelligent Page Titles, Meta-Descriptions and SEO optimized page content. Furthermore, most all of the images on this clients pre-existing website did not have licensing secured. The images on the pre-existing site were gathered from the web, by an employee of the company who was tasked with the job to update the website. While he did a great job of adding products to the website, he was not knowledgeable to the recommended guidelines of SEO. Nor was he aware that he was putting the company at risk for using images that were not licensed.

Custom WordPress WooCommerce eCommerce Theme Design. This client had a decent looking design previous to employing AdverGroup to redevelop. Therefore, we kept the color scheme and some design elements and used them in our new and improved WordPress build.
Video Header Slide Show on Home Page. We implemented an easy to use video header component on this clients WordPress website. This component is also used to produce many of the product and category sliders on the website.
Export and Modify of Client’s eCommerce Product Feed .This client had a pre-existing WooCommerce eCommerce website. However, the data feed possessed little or no content other than product name, categories and a brief product description. We modified their “product feed” so that could be imported into the new WooCommerce eCommerce build, ensuring that all products possessed Intelligent Page Titles, Meta-Descriptions and SEO optimized page content.
Product Photography Generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI). While AdverGroup is a professional product photographer, and is fully capable of capturing product photography for our clients. This project required replacing 140 product images that had never been licensed. Rather than seeking 140 unique stock images, many of which do not even exist, AdverGroup deployed our expertise in AI image generation. As a full service ad agency we are professional graphic designers that stay on the cutting edge in graphic design technology. Therefore we have become experts in Artificial Intelligence (AI) generated content which includes text and images. In addition to producing AI stock images, we also wrote terms and conditions that made users aware that AI was used to develop content on this clients website.

Corporate Staff Images Captured by AdverGroup. As a professional local food and product photographer, we also often capture images of our business clients facilities and employees. This client needed to add new employees to their “Team Page”. Therefore, we took new high resolution photographs of their new staff and edited them to match the previous images of employees that already existed on their corporate website.
