Web Design Client: Kratom Vibez

The owners of Primify LLC were seeking an eCommerce web design and development company to assist them with the development of their new Kratom website. However, they were aware that this project presented some unique challenges. The challenges were related to Kratom being a high risk product that was restricted for internet sales by most credit card processing companies. This required the selection of a specialized credit card processor and numerous other functionality that would help restrict the sale of the products to individuals over the age of 21, plus the restriction of sales to specific zip codes in the United States. This new client was happy to see that we have done this before. Once they learned of all of our eCommerce capabilities, they knew that we were the best local website development company among all the other local Chicago eCommerce developers that they interviewed.

In addition to helping them build a custom Kratom eCommerce website, we were sure to implement proper metadata for search engine optimization (SEO). This was extra important because we knew that advertising their website would also be a challenge, due to Kratom being restricted by Google Ad’s and Meta ads (Facebook & Instagram). Therefore, we manually authored intelligent page titles and meta descriptions for all of their eCommerce Kratom products. Credit Card Processing for High Risk Products: Clients that sell tobacco, kratom and other high risk products must have a special merchant account that permits these types of transactions. AdverGroup can assist with the procurement of merchant processors that allow the sale of Tobacco, Kratom and other high risk products. For this client we configured their payment gateway to work with this high risk merchant account processor.

Custom WordPress WooCommerce eCommerce Theme Design. We build all websites considering how they will appear on mobile devices, as over 70% of website visitors will be using a mobile device when viewing your webpage. There are also special considerations when building eCommerce websites optimized for mobile devices of which our experience affords us the knowledge of. Therefore, we custom designed a theme for WordPress that was built to improve the user experience for both desktop and mobile visitors.
Video Header Slide Show on Home Page. We implemented an easy to use video header component on this clients WordPress website. This component is also used to produce many of the product and category sliders on the website. We also embedded a custom logo ticker that would allow brand logos to scroll smoothly with a video background behind them.
Export and Modify of Client’s eCommerce Product Feed .This client had a pre-existing WooCommerce eCommerce website. However, the data feed possessed little or no content other than product name, categories and a brief product description. We modified their “product feed” so that could be imported into the new WooCommerce eCommerce build, ensuring that all products possessed Intelligent Page Titles, Meta-Descriptions and SEO optimized page content.
Product Photography by others, edited to remove all backgrounds. Unfortunately, before bringing AdverGroup onto the project, this client had hired another photographer to take photos of their products. This photographer was not well organized and had zero experience in formatting images for use on an eCommerce website. As the images were provided to the client with a number of issues that would have slowed down any other web designer. However, AdverGroup stepped up and organized and re-edited all images, removing backgrounds and sizing all images appropriately for use on their new eCommerce website.

Web Design Client: Lakeside Food Sales

Lakeside Food Sales Inc. has been supplying and distributing raw ingredients to food and beverage manufacturers, restaurants and bakeries across the United States since 1986. They had what appeared to be a pretty attractive website. However, there were many issues that they wanted to resolve on the existing website.

Additionally, they wanted a slightly more professional looking website with a video header and video commercial which would help them “out do” their competitors.

Some of the issues that existed on their pre-existing website were not glaring, but to a Search Engine Optimizers’ trained eye, there was many SEO deficiencies that were silently keeping this clients website from becoming relevant in search engines. These deficiencies included all product pages missing Intelligent Page Titles, Meta-Descriptions and SEO optimized page content. Furthermore, most all of the images on this clients pre-existing website did not have licensing secured. The images on the pre-existing site were gathered from the web, by an employee of the company who was tasked with the job to update the website. While he did a great job of adding products to the website, he was not knowledgeable to the recommended guidelines of SEO. Nor was he aware that he was putting the company at risk for using images that were not licensed.

Website Design Client: Newman Irrigation & Plumbing

This local irrigation and plumbing contractor contacted us in peril when his previous web designer became unresponsive and lost his domain name when he failed to renew his URL (Uniform Resource Locator). Unfortunately, the domain name was quickly purchased by another company and was not able to be rescued. However, this contractor needed help developing a new website and fast. AdverGroup quickly jumped into action reserved a new domain name and produced a new search optimized website within 24 hours.

Before this contractor sought a new local website developer, he was frantically calling and emailing his former web designer who did not respond. After retaining AdverGroup, the former web designer finally replied with promises to solve all the issues and save the domain. By the time the former web designer got his ass in gear and reported back to the client, AdverGroup had already completed the new website, that was much improved and optimized for search engines.

This client sought a professional website that they could call home base for their San Diego based rental car company. The owner currently does most of his rentals through a 3rd Party rental booking service but knew that he was out growing there service as his business is booming. Therefore, the goal of this project was to develop a corporate website which he could optimize for search engines and could also later be expanded to manage his car rentals and bookings directly through his website.

Website Design Client: Integrity Windows and Siding

AdverGroup was contacted by the owner of this local window company and siding contractor in Buffalo Grove that had no website. This contractor has been in business for over 30 years and was only present on Angie List and HomeAdvisor. In fact, the owner of Integrity Windows was personal fiends with the original Angie of Angie’s list. He enjoyed the business that these two contractor service platforms provided for him for many years. However, In October of 2017, Angie’s List was acquired by IAC, the owner of HomeAdvisor it’s then largest competitor. Since this merger, this local Window and Siding Company began to experience a slump in the leads provided by these two companies. He knew it was time to finally develop his own website.

It was able to do so, because the services were delivered locally and the business was always performed face to face. The business is still the same but it has grown. As they continue to provide services to the Chicago area, the company needed a website that would compliment their mobile delivery service and allow customers to submit their “purchase order” online. The owner sought a local Chicago area eCommerce website designer that could help him build a catalog website with custom features. The custom features of this website was to achieve a true mobile optimized design and functionality for age verification and hidden prices until a customer is registered and approved.

eCommerce WordPress WooCommerce Web Design Functionality Delivered:

New Custom Theme Installed and Designed using Mobile First Format This website was new design, as the client did not have a pre-existing website. The main intent of the website was to make ordering easy for local clients. Therefore, developing the site to feel like a mobile “app” was the objective.
WooCommerce Inventory Migration from Quickbooks, Export and/or Import into the products into the eCommerce Platform. The client provided an export of their inventory from their QuickBooks software. Though this data was useful, it was not in the proper format for exhibiting on the website.
